Today’s Advice

WHITE UMBRELLA (6f 20y Hcap) – This Chris Kellett trained filly has dropped a long way in the weights since she was trained by Harry & Roger Charlton when racing off a handicap mark of (76). Last time out from a handicap mark of (53) she raced prominently before finishing runner up to Galileo Glass over the extended 7f at tonight’s venue. The handicapper has left her on the same mark for tonight’s (8.30) Wolverhampton, and apprentice Aidan Keeley takes a further 3lbs off her back. It was a career best performance from her on the clock (101) last time out, and she may be worth trying over the shorter trip tonight. With plenty of pace in the race with Fieldsman, Rebel Redemption and yesterday’s winner at Kempton El Hibri (if he shows up) in the field, the race may set up nicely for her to track the pace, and from there we will see if she can put her head down at the finish a bit better than before.
