Yesterday’s Review
0.75pt e/way Bismilah Alik (100) – A decent performance from the selection who looked all over the winner once he hit the front, but was beaten a nose on the line. A fine step forward carrying five pounds more than his previous effort over shorter. Result 2nd 6/1, 9/2 adv…11/4F SP.
0.75pt e/way Lochnaver (96) – A below par performance from Lochnaver who despite being well backed into 9/2 did not bounce back from her two previous poor efforts.
0.5pt e/way Pepsi Cat (114) – A career best from the selection on the clock who bumped into a very good horse in Cover Up. Connections can be very happy with how this mare has been performing lately. Result 3rd 13/2, 11/2 adv…11/2 SP.
1pt win Amaysmont (78) – The slowest race on the card. Jockey Ben Sanderson reported that the horse raced too keenly, and perhaps he does need a strong pace to aim at. However, this was way below what was expected.
0.75pt e/way Isle Of Wolves (96) – A slowly run race which didn’t suit the selection who was stuck behind the prominent racers following a slow break from the stalls. Thankfully, he managed to hit the frame despite everything not going to plan. Result 4th 5/1 adv…10/3 SP.
