Moonlit Cloud (10F 219Y Hcap) – This six-year-old mare caught the eye last time out, when finishing fifth behind Charlie’s Choice, three weeks ago over this C&D. On that occasion she was staying on well from the rear following a 174 day break. The third place finisher Grigio has come out and won since. She has already finished second twice on Turf from a handicap mark of 69, so tonight’s mark of 70 for the (7.30) Kempton is well within her compass. Her ninth place over C&D from last January (her previous run on the all-weather) recorded a strong time for the grade, and included six individual winners from their next three starts (including herself). Prominent racers such as Avon Light, Throubi and Eleanor Cross should ensure a decent enough pace for her to aim at.
