Total Lockdown (11F 219Y Hcap) – This five-year-old is known for his high head carriage, and can usually be spotted travelling best during his races before weakening near the finish. Connections have gone for the first time blinkers for tonight’s (8.30) Kempton, and he looks the right price for a small interest. His latest race was his best so far on the clock of the current all-weather season. On that occasion he showed a lot more than his two previous ones on sand when travelling well before weakening over a furlong out. Tonight’s contest looks to be short on solid contestants in form, bar the short priced favourite Tortured Soul, and it will be interesting to see if the headgear has any effect on the Martin Dunne trained gelding.
