Yesterday’s Review
3pts win Doctor Khan Junior (108) – A nine lengths per mile inferior performance to his course and distance win last time out. Jockey Harry Russell reported that the horse ran flat. One would think that a 21 day break would be enough to recover from a top performance, but in this case it looks like the horse is best fresh. His recent four wins came after 84, 36, 45 and 39 day breaks. It is hoped that connections can freshen him up, and get him back to his best. It was a nice performance from the winner Nine Tenths (114) but it was still three lengths per mile inferior to the selection’s previous run. It was encouraging to see his form being franked in the very next race with Kingdom Come getting his head in front.
