Unfortunately, she couldn’t quicken up early enough over this sharper course and distance, and found the winning line coming a shade too quickly. A return to a mile should see her in a better light. Today’s Advice

Glamorous Express (6F Hcap) – The (7.12) Kempton looks to be a race of interest tonight for hold up performers with what looks to be plenty of pace on up front. Horses that have made the running in the past include Change Sings, One More Wave, Ayr Harbour and Atalanta’s Boy. Occasionally when these situations occur we end up with nobody making the running, but we can only go by the formlines and look for the value. The selection was noted putting in one of the fastest final sectionals of the season over course and distance when winning here in March from off the pace. While that was a lower grade than tonight’s contest he has placed in Class 4 company in the past, and looks the right price for a sporting wager tonight. I am willing to allow his recent comeback run on an unsuitably heavy surface after thirty nine days off when he didn’t get the clearest of runs at Windsor. Apprentice Jack Doughty takes a valuable seven pounds off, and the race should be run to suit. Trainer Tony Carroll could be in better form with just Night Bear and Oman performing with great credit recently, but the selection still warrants a small interest and should be kept a close eye on going forward as well.
