Louisiana Bay (10f Hcap) – Another consistent mare from the Jack Jones stable who has disappointed on a soft surface on Turf lately that looks worth an interest. The (5.35) Lingfield may not be over her ideal distance, but the opposition doesn’t look the most straightforward. Her last two performances on the All-Weather have yielded a first and a second, and the last time she raced at this track she was a five length winner. The stronger they go up front the better for her, and prominent racers such as Brassavola and Kissininthebackrow should help her cause. The former could be one of interest, but her consistency at the finish may be questionable. Confidence would be higher over twelve furlongs, but I am willing to have a small play at the prices on offer.
