Yesterday’s Review
1pt e/way Tathmeen (99) – A similar enough performance to the number I had in mind for the selection who recorded a (99) speed figure the last two times he had raced over course and distance. However, on those two occasions he was drawn in stall twelve and eleven. So he slightly underperformed for me from stall three. Global Effort (102) put up a career performance, but the one that really annoyed me was Dequinto (100) in fourth place who decided to put up a career performance from stall twelve, keeping our pick out of the frame. Followers of the column will recall Dequinto finishing last when selected at Southwell in March….
0.75pt e/way Q Twenty Boy (98) – Not as much pace on in this race as the front two Eldeyaar (99) and Due Date (100) controlled this race from the start. The Due Date form from Chelmsford looked the one to concentrate on, and the winner turned the form around nicely with the selection who also underperformed slightly on his effort back in March over course and distance hanging to his right during the race. Jockey Alicia Perkins never picked up her stick during the finish. The one to take from the race looks to be Blue Collar Lad who had to take his medicine from stall twelve, and made up plenty of ground in the finish.
Today’s Advice
No Investments
Nothing solid enough at the right price for me at Kempton tonight. Back tomorrow at Chelmsford.
Best of luck,
Graham
