0.75pt e/way Famed Again (92) – The horse was near last coming out of the stalls and was then restrained when all she wanted to do was get on with it. Nothing went right for her, and she still managed to hit the frame. She will be seen to her best when she can make the running over a more suitable track. Result 4th 12/1, 11/1 adv…16/1 SP.

Martin Spirit (11f 99y Hcap) – This seven-year-old has been performing consistently on the Flat his four most recent starts based on Racing Post Ratings. His most recent effort on the Flat over course and distance caught the eye when he didn’t get the clearest of runs in the home straight, and finished well to be beaten just three quarters of a length behind Escarpment. He is also known for his exploits over the Jumps, and has already won on soft ground at Plumpton this season. With the ground described as Soft for today’s (4.15) Windsor conditions should hold no fears for him, and he looks the right price for a sporting interest. I will allow him his most recent effort over Jumps at Fontwell where he appeared to go off to fast in front.
