Yesterday’s Review

1pt win Two Stars (106) – The selection failed by the minimum margin to defy a five pound penalty for winning over five furlongs at The Curragh. He had very little pace to aim at early on, and raced keenly up with the leader on only his second attempt at six furlongs. It looked like he had done enough when leading over a furlong out but was just headed in the final strides. It will be interesting to see if connections will keep him back at five furlongs going forward. He is a fine big type, and should be competing in a higher grade soon enough.
