Today’s Advice

Phoenix Moon (6f Hcap) – This lightly raced Denis Coakley trained filly has been in fine form recently with a win and two places from her last three efforts. Last time out at Wolverhampton she was beaten just over a length behind Wren Officer from a wide draw having raced from the rear. She ran on nicely at the finish despite the wide trip, and should appreciate the return to polytrack for today’s (3.50) Lingfield. Her last two visits to this course and distance have yielded a win and a place in this grade, and the handicapper has left her untouched from her current handicap rating. A kind draw in stall four has been secured, and another solid effort should be on the cards with jockey Tyler Heard booked who has been on board for her last three races. The favourite Lion Ring looks the one to beat and he has been in sparkling form with four wins from his last five efforts.
