1pt e/way Fravanco (102) – The selection recorded the type of figure I had in mind for him, and in most Class 6 races that would be good enough to win (Class 6 Speed Figure Par (101)). Unfortunately, Upepo (104) returned to that early 2024 form that saw him win a (0-70) handicap nicely at this venue. He looks one to follow as he endured a less than smooth trip. Fravanco does have a slight tendency to get outpaced in his races, as he did here on the hometurn, before keeping on to be beaten two and a quarter lengths. Nevertheless, he is still a fine, consistent competitor at a low grade level for connections. Result 4th 5/1 adv…10/3F SP.
