Yesterday’s Review

0.5pt e/way Big Red (101) – Everything looked right on the day for a step forward from his previous effort over six furlongs at the track. Unfortunately, he recorded the exact same figure as last time out, failing to find an extra gear in the straight.

1pt win Arlecchino’s Rex (96) – A disappointing effort from the selection who recorded a similar figure to last time out, but found very little in the home straight. The winner, Blue Seeker (100) looked mightily impressive. A fine, big type, he travelled ominously well in rear, and won comfortably.
