0.5pt e/way Solid Win (106) – The selection couldn’t find a decent position early on, despite a better draw than last time, and found himself second last at the halfway stage. He finished best of all in the home straight finishing fourth, but will need to break better going forward.

0.5pt e/way Valdivia (101) – Connor Beasley’s mount travelled like a dream into the home straight, and looked nailed on for at least second place. However, when asked for his effort he found disappointingly little, and despite being beaten a nose for fourth place this was three lengths per mile slower than his previous effort round here. One to be wary of now.

1pt win Wee Fat Mac (102) – The selection raced too keen early on, and disputed the lead with Fortunate Star (who finished last). He weakened inside the final furlong to finish third. His tendency to overrace early on, and inability to find an extra gear at the business end of races have led to him being winless now since December 2023.
