Starsoftheclock Wednesday 12th February 2025 Selections And Review

12th February, 2025 @ 9:37am

Yesterday’s Review

0.5pt e/way Back Tomorrow (96) – A slowly run race didn’t suit the selection who made matters worse by missing the break. The first three home raced prominently, and those held up were at a disadvantage.

Today’s Advice

Esticky End (12f Hcap) – This seven-year-old won well  by a length and a quarter from Koniag (who was won since) when last seen over today’s course and distance. On that occasion he tracked the pace before taking up the running over two furlongs from home, and keeping on well to the line. Last time out at Wolverhampton he didn’t get the clearest of runs in a slowly run race, and was noted keeping on well at the finish. Back on polytrack for today’s (5.05) Dundalk he looks the right price for an alternative selection to the short priced favourite Dromore Glory who is back out five days after going down by a neck to Omakase. Five pound apprentice Jack Cleary (who won on him when last seen at this track) retains the ride, and a kind draw in stall three should see him with every chance at the business end of the race.
