0.5pt e/way My Day My Way (103) – A decent step forward on the track from the selection who was worth chancing at the prices on offer despite having very little form in the book. He was not the best from the stalls, but kept on well from a midfield position to finish a length and a half behind the winner Power Koepp (106) in second. He won’t be such an attractive price next time out. Result 2nd 30/1, 28/1 adv…45/1 SP.

1pt win Plentiful (100) – Not the strongly run race that looked likely on paper with Parents’ Love (102) taking up the running after a furlong and just failing to hang on by a half length. The selection once again didn’t take advantage of his decent draw in stall four, and made his challenge widest of all in the home straight which looked to cost him too much ground. He came home a length and a half off the winner Spicy Spangle (103), and may have finished closer with an inside challenge. Not the type to be playing at shortish prices going forward…

1pt e/way Aurora Lady (108) – An unusually tardy start from the selection looked to have cost him his chance of victory, as he simply didn’t have enough cushion on the fast finishing winner as they turned into the straight. He came up a length and a quarter short in second, and connections will need to work on their starts if they want to win more races going forward. Result 2nd 4/1 adv…2/1F SP.
