0.75pt e/way Mubeed (74) – A fine performance from the selection who found the first two home on a different level to the rest of the field. The winner First Classs (81) had been quiet on the dirt recently since winning this race two years ago. Result 3rd 12/1 adv…12/1 SP.

0.5pt e/way Kanaille De Faust (61) – The selection ran below his previous best once again.

1pt e/way Peptide Nile (88) – A performance way below any of his previous seven starts. As soon as he was asked for an effort in the home straight he went backwards.

0.75pt e/way Heart Of Honor (105) – The first time blinkers were worth a go by connections, and the selection failed by the narrowest of margins. However, this was still four lengths per mile slower than his previous best on the clock. Result 2nd 9/2 adv…3/1JF.

1pt e/way Shin Emperor (105) – Another Japanese performer that ran way below his best. He was sweating beforehand, and raced keenly with an awkward head carriage when under pressure. It remains to be seen how he goes forward from this bitterly disappointing effort.
