NORTH VIEW (7f Hcap) – The (4.05) Kempton looks an in interesting race with the favourite Metaverse looking to be on a favourable mark at the moment. However, he also looks a difficult horse both to train and to get to put his best foot forward. The selection has switched stables from Peter Chapple-Hyam to George Boughey since finishing behid Piz Nair over course and distance last season, in what looks one of the best pieces of form on offer. The winner has since won a handicap in Sakhir, while the race has thrown up multiple winners since including one of today’s contestants Follow Your Heart. The son of Expert Eye has since been gelded, and while disappointing without his regular headgear last time over six furlongs out when favourite at Yarmouth he may be able to find his past form under identical conditions today.
