Yesterday’s Review

0.75pt e/way Ten Pounds (97) – Jockey Trevor Whelan reported that the selection became upset in the stalls. His mount raced prominent and keen early on before weakening quickly two furlongs out. A performance to put a line through.

Today’s Advice

EVERILLO (10f Hcap) – The David Menuisier trained four-year-old Tribal Chief caught the eye last time out finishing well behind Bullet Point at Newmarket. The step up in trip from the mile would appear to suit, but at the prices I was happy to look elsewhere for a bit of value for today’s (2.15) Longchamp.

The selection has already won over today’s distance, and has also won over twelve furlongs at today’s venue in the past. He was noted finishing well on seasonal debut at Saint Cloud when just going down by a short neck in a Ladies Amateur race. The handicapper hasn’t been overly harsh on him recently, and he get’s into today’s race off the same handicap mark as when winning at Compiegne last season.

Cristian Demuro has been booked for the ride, and he is fresh from riding a double at Saint-Cloud on Friday. A decent draw in stall six should suit, and I expect him to race in midfield, and everything looks in place for another solid performance.
