Yesterday’s Review
2pts win Satono Reve (113) – A valiant effort from the selection who was backed into 2/1 favourite but just found the French challenger Lazzat (114) a half length too good. The winner had yet to race on Good to Firm going, although I did have the winning times on the straight track at Chantilly where he raced last time out as being 8 lengths per mile faster than standard despite the ground being advertised as Good to Soft. It’s a pity French racecourses are so bad at giving out the advertised going correctly. The selection raced more prominently than he usually does as the pace wasn’t strong for the race. The winner made all the running and was always a stride or two ahead of his main rival. A more contested pace would have suited much better.
Today’s Advice
No Investments
Nothing strong enough at the right price for me today.
Will be taking a summer break now and will also be working on putting together pace and sectional marker data for UK Turf racing.
I will be writing about Purebred Arabian racing in the meantime for Attheraces.
Best of luck till next time.
