Yesterday’s Review

0.5pt e/way Jannas Journey (107) – Plenty of pace on with Fifty Nifty wanting to lead with Northern Express. The selection didn’t take advantage of her decent draw in stall 3 and was well behind in the early stages. She looked outpaced and had to be switched in the straight before staying on. Not good enough on the day.

1pt e/way Mighty Magnus (95) – The first three on the pace finished out of the places as those held up were at an advantage. The selection found nothing when asked at the business end before staying on. The ground was perfect on the day and shouldn’t be used as an excuse. Connections will look to go up in trip going forward, and he may be seen to better effect on a softer surface.

0.5pt e/way Spinning Dancer (94) – The selection was a long way from her Wolverhampton performance on the clock. It was still a decent enough effort to make the frame, but as we can see with low grade racing getting them to reproduce can be difficult. The price went very fast as I was putting up the selection yesterday morning so it will go down on the account at 11/1 as opposed to 16/1. Result 4th 11/1 adv…9/1 SP.
