Yesterday’s Review
1pt win Aberama Gold (106) – A solid performance once again from the selection just failing by a neck to overcome Far Above Dream (107) who had underperformed last time out at Ayr.
1pt win Cerulean Bay (109) – A fine ride by Oisin Murphy who had the selection in the perfect position to strike early as the pace slackened in the early furlongs. It was an excellent effort from a new handicap mark of 100 as he held the improving three-year-old Back In Black at bay by three quarters of a length. Result 1st 7/2 adv…9/4 SP.
0.5pt e/way Plantadream (100) – The race wasn’t run to suit the selection who found himself on the outside with no cover. One to put a line through.
1pt win Calzaghi (94) – The selection made nice headway from the rear and was closing down the winner fast at the line. A stronger pace would have helped his cause and he will have to go down as a shade unlucky once again.
