Today’s Advice

TENBOB TOMMY (7f 216y Hcap) – This lightly raced four-year-old put in a career best over course and distance last time out on the clock (106) when finishing ahead of three of today’s rivals. On that occasion he raced prominently and only found Newfangled a length too good.

It was a long three and a half lengths back to the third and with little pace in today’s field he may get to strike for home first and maintain an advantage over his rivals. The handicapper has raised him 2lbs for his latest effort but a reproduction of that should see him go very close. Charles Bishop takes over from George Bass and he is due a winner for trainer Sheena West having had plenty of places but no winner since Feb Thirtyfirst at Even money on the polytrack at Lingfield back in 2015.
