Today’s Advice
PIETRO (7f Hcap) – This three-year-old has recorded two strong timefigures in his last two races most notably last time out in a Class 2 Handicap at Doncaster. On that occasion he was held up at the rear and kept on well to finish in sixth place beaten two and a half lengths. Three winners have come out of this race since (Morte Point, Angel Hunter, and Spell Master) and the handicapper has left him alone off a handicap mark of 80 which enables him to just get into today’s (3.10) Yarmouth.
There should be enough pace up front today in order for him to show his best with Dashing Dick and Nutmeg in opposition and jockey Kyle Strydom takes the ride having won twice on him already this season.
OHMALI (8f Hcap) – Conditions look to be perfect today for this improving three-year-old who won nicely on Heavy ground at Gowran Park last month. With similar going advertised for today’s (5.35) Curragh and a decent draw in stall eleven it is hoped that he can return to the winner’s enclosure again.
Seamie Heffernan takes the ride again and a similar tracking position to the last day should see him with every chance at the business end of today’s contest. He won cosily at the end of his race the last day and trainer Miss Natalia Lupini is well capable of putting back to back wins together.
This son of Sands Of Mali is the only last time out winner in today’s field and everything looks in place for another strong performance.
