0.5pt e/way Rakaan (101) – Another race where barrier trials can provide punters with extra clues for future races and encourage more betting on racing. Something UK racing needs to embrace for it’s racing. It was right to take on the short price favourite Ashwaan (92) who failed to reproduce his trial win over the course.

The selection travelled very well and jockey Danny Tudhope’s strength in the final strides got the job done by a neck at the line from Marapat (100) who improved nicely from his trial run at Meydan behind Lino Padrino. Result 1st 12/1 SP advised.
