He kept on well at the finish to go down by just a half length to Sugar Sugar (105). He was unfortunate to bump into one who had dropped significantly in the handicap and was revitalised by a first time visor. Result 2nd 14/1 adv…17/1 SP.

0.75pt e/way Sonic Pursuit (98) – A disappointing performance from the selection who had been reported as pleasing connections in the run-up to the race. He couldn’t find an extra gear in the final two furlongs when asked and connections might be advised to try headgear once again.
