GAAB (7f) – The (4.45) Riyadh looks a weak contest and winning form on offer is very limited. With that in mind last time out maiden winner Gaab tops the clock with his (98) timefigure when coming home 2.5 lengths clear of Aziz Fahad. On that occasion he missed the break but showed decent acceleration to take up the running soon after. He kept finding under Ricardo Ferreira and he looks a fine big type that could easily win another race. I expected him to be favourite for today’s contest so he looks a bit of value at the prices on offer. The drop back to 7f shouldn’t be a problem as he likes to get on with things and a better break from the stalls should see him in an even better light. Ricardo Ferreira is back on board again and in a very weak contest a reproduction of his latest performance should see him go close.
