1pt e/way Winning Ovation (107) – The selection made most of the running under Alexis Badel and surged clear in the home straight when asked to find an extra gear to record 1.25 length victory. It was right to take on the short priced favourite who finisihed in second place. There should be another win in the four-year old going forward. Result 1st 6/1 adv…58/10 SP.

0.75pt e/way Omaha Front (95) – It was another disappointing performance from the selection who couldn’t find a decent position from his wide draw in stall 11 and ended up racing wide into the home turn. There was no reply when his pilot asked him for a response in the home straight as he came home 11.5 lengths adrift in eighth place despite going off joint favourite. Obviously something amiss now with the three-year-old.
