Unfortunately, she was nailed on the line for third place. She should be ready to win again very soon on better ground.

QUEST FOR FUN (7f Hcap) – The going at York this week has been slower than the official description of Good according to the winning times and that should suit the selection who finished fourth in this race last year. He also won a course and distance handicap last July from a 4lb lower mark. A step forward on the clock was made from his seasonal debut last time out over 7f at Thirsk, in a faster than par race, where the fourth place finisher U Sure Do has come out and won since. Racing more forward than usual, from a prominent position, he had every chance before weakening over a furlong from home. I awarded him a (110) timefigure for that performance which should put bring him nicely forward. The dual course and distance winner has won off higher handicap marks in the past and he looks to have plenty of boxes ticked for today’s (1.45) York from stall 8 with stable jockey David Allan booked to ride.
