Yesterday’s Review

1pt e/way Rappell (93) – The selection raced prominently but soon dropped back to midfield. He was hampered as he made headway into sixth place in the home straight but found very little when asked to quicken at the 6f pole. He weakened into 12th place beaten 5.75 lengths. His sixth furlong was only the 13th fastest of the 16 runner field which would indicate that he was a long, long way off his previous two efforts. The vets found him to be post race normal.
