Yesterday’s Review
0.75pt e/way Sindagan (93) – The defection of front runner Carolina Jetstream changed the shape of the race with LL Koulsty (95) having his own way out in front at a crawl. This wouldn’t have suited the selection and better will be seen off a stronger pace. He came home in 6th place beaten 3.5 lengths.
1pt e/way Believed (105) – The available closing sectionals indicated that the pace wasn’t as strong as expected which made the accomplishments of the winner look even better. She raced keenly in rear and despite not having an ideal position throughout she came home strongly down the outside to win by a half length at the finish. The good to firm surface looked to have suited her much more than some of her rivals who would have preferred more cut in the ground. There could be another win in her going forward. Today’s Advice
KATS BOB (6f Hcap) – The (2.55) Ripon looks like a race with not too much pace on up front. The selection likes to get on with things and other than the first-time blinkers firing up Emperor Caradoc in stall 3 the selection might get his own way out in front. He is currently rated 3lb lower than when successful last summer and has finished runner-up on his last two starts over 6f at York and Redcar. He has finished in the frame at this venue in the past, and with the Ruth Carr stable in decent form this month with 5 winners already on the board, he looks a bit of value at a double figure price.
