Yesterday’s Review

1pt win Ring Of Gold – An impressive winner in the Sir Michael Stoute trained Assessment. There was always a danger one of the lightly raced ones could leap forward. Aside from that, I was hoping for a bit more from the selection. At one stage it looked like he was going to quicken past, but he flattered to deceive. He just seems to lack that extra gear when needed.

Today’s Advice

Always exciting to see Newmarket’s first fixture of the Flat season. With four meetings on the level across the UK and Ireland, I had an in-depth look for some value. Despite a few catching my eye, nothing ticked enough boxes for me to get involved.
