Temper Trap (8F Handicap) Tim Easterby’s 6-y-o gelding reached a career handicap high of (70) last year following four wins in the summer. He is back down to a mark of (63) for tonight’s contest at Wetherby (8.40) and the excellent apprentice Sean Kirrane takes another valuable 3lbs off. A good draw in stall (3) has been secured and everything looks in place for another step forward from his sixth place finish at Thirsk last time out. The selection looks to be a big horse that needs a few runs at the start of the season to get him spot on. Hopefully with two runs already under his belt he can recapture that winning form from last year.
