Yesterday’s Review
1pt e/way Jack Yeats (90) – The slowest race on the card and the selection just missed out on third place by a short head for those that were on the extra place. The hesitation in the home straight proved costly when trying to go for a gap and having to be switched outside. Frustrating when backed from 20/1 into 10/1 but these are the little differences between winning and losing.
Today’s Advice
Billy Mill (7f Hcap) Rod Millman’s gelding looked a shade unfortunate lto when going down by just a head to Darwell Lion over 8f at tonight’s venue. On that occasion he was nicely away from the stalls but raced a little bit keen. He didn’t get the clearest of runs in the straight but kept on very well to the line. A nice draw in stall (1) has been secured and it is hoped that he can obtain a decent position from there, as he can sometimes be slowly away at the start. With two career wins already over 7f conditions should be fine for him in the (7.40) Kempton. He is just 1lb above his last winning mark so everything looks in place for a solid effort.
