Bomb Squad (6f 20y Hcap) – This six-year-old has put together three consistent efforts on the clock lately, with one of them being over this course and distance following a seven day break when finishing second by a neck to Global Effort. Runner-up to Cut To The Chase last time out at Newcastle, eight days ago, when beaten three quarters of a length, trainer John Mackie has found a decent opportunity for him in tonight’s (8.30) Wolverhampton. The handicapper has dropped him a pound for that effort, and he looks to have an excellent chance of getting career win number six tonight. His main danger looks to be the Tony Carroll trained You Are Everything who recorded a strong (103) speed figure behind recent multiple winner Havana Sky at Southwell. Still a maiden after thirteen starts she looks to be a bit of a thinker when put under pressure, but is well handicapped eleven pounds below where she began her handicapping career over two years ago. Cieren Fallon takes the ride, and we will be hoping for a decent trip from a kind draw in stall three.
