Today’s Advice

BEAU ARMY (7f Hcap) – As we know three-year-olds can make improvement leaps from race to race and as a betting medium they would be the type of races to approach with caution. The (5.00) Dundalk falls into that category and the selection was one we landed on last time out. Unfortunately, she couldn’t reproduce her most recent winning effort and raced too keenly before coming home in sixth place. She still holds the top performance on the clock of this field and I am willing to give her another chance in the hope that she can relax better with prominent racers Queen Leila and Electric Night in opposition.

HINT OF HUMOUR (5f Hcap) – Cayman Tai looks to have a solid chance as favourite for the (7.15) Wolverhampton considering he posted a career best (109) timefigure last time out when finishing second behind Thecoffeepoddotco last time out at Lingfield. The application of the hood and a drop of 13lbs from his career high handicap rating have certainly helped. He can be a keen going type and at the odds I can let him win at today’s price.

The selection was drawn out wide and was returning from over a month long break last time out when she raced keenly over course and distance before coming home in seventh place. Her (107) timefigure behind Gogo Yubari over Lingfield’s sharp five furlongs showed that there is still plenty left in the tank going forward and back to her favourite course and distance with a kinder draw today she should be in the shake-up at the business end of the race.
