1pt e/way Aerovolanic (107) – The selection didn’t exit the stalls the way he can do, and he had to use up a bit of early energy to claw back some position. He ended up tracking the leader on the rail and his 7lb claimer eventually wound him up in the final furlong to get up on the line. The gambled on favourite Master Lucky (106) raced prominently with the choke out too much, while the second favourite Superb Spirit (106) looked the unlucky one in the contest as he got going too late to be beaten a length in third. Result 1st 10/3 adv…23/5 SP.
