Today’s Advice
ELECTRIC AVENUE (7f 36y Hcap) – Recent course and distance winner Bella Bisbee reappears just seven days after a comfortable debut win for the Scott Dixon stable and there is every chance that she could go close again under a five pound penalty. A reproduction of her latest effort in today’s (5.00) Wolverhampton would see her record a (104) timefigure. However, the last time she had a quick turnaround following a win was in August of last year at Yarmouth and she finished unplaced on that occasion.
The selection is in the form of her life having won twice at Newcastle last month and recorded a career best (105) timefigure last time out over course and distance when finishing in second place while trying to give nine pounds to well treated rival Chifa. On that occasion she had to use up plenty of energy early on from her wide draw in stall eight to head the entire field and ran all the way to the line when headed by the winner inside the final furlong. She recorded a (105) timefigure for that contest and will carry eight pound less under today’s condition from a kinder draw in stall four. Jockey Tom Eaves has been booked to ride and he has ben aboard for her lat three races. She usually races prominently and with the lighter weight and better draw in her favour she should give the favourite plenty to think about.
