Ladypacksapunch (12f 51y Hcap) – The short priced favourite Harlington for tonight’s (8.30) Wolverhampton should appreciate the step up in trip to the extended twelve furlongs, and his form with Keen Interest from September looks solid. Usually when we take on favourite’s that have that sort of profile in low grade racing, the one’s further down the betting have plenty of quirks about them. The selection certainly falls into that category, and as she hasn’t been seen in fourty eight days we have to take it on trust that she is fully wound up for tonight’s contest. She had only shown brief signs of ability in her first twenty seven career starts, and it wasn’t until the visor went on this season that some sort of consistency was displayed. She broke her maiden at Bath over the extended eleven furlongs in August having finished second the time before. A fourth placed finish in a slowly run race behind Dynamiste over the extended thirteen furlongs was another consistent effort on her part. There is a chance that her improvement has mainly come due to a liking for turf racing, but she might be worth chancing as the outsider of the field that she could act as well on the all-weather this winter. As a hold-up performer she will be hoping for some pace to aim at from Sexy Rexy, and on what looks a quiet day’s racing she looks worth a small interest.
