0.75pt e/way Written Broadcast (95) – A below par performance from the selection who didn’t get the clearest of runs in the home straight. Stall eleven proved too difficult a draw to overcome, despite what appeared to be a decent pace on the clock. The two front runners Coconut Bay and Asmund stuck around to finish in the first four in what looked a bunched finish.

Despite plenty of meetings being on, notably seven in the UK, I had planned to take a break in April following a profitable All-Weather Season. I will be going over the results to try and make the selections even more profitable going forward. With the overwatering of Turf tracks last season (the worst it’s been in over thirty years according to one prominent trainer) I will be weighing up the time spent on that part of the sport and the likely returns.
