Today’s Advice

Ghostman (6f 20y Hcap) – The selection’s second place finish behind Bow Street when recording a (99) speed figure over six furlongs at Newcastle rates as one of the top performances on the clock for tonight’s (6.30) Wolverhampton. Last time out over the same course and distance the Dylan Cunha trained two-year-old raced too keenly, and stumbled early on in the race having nearly come down after a furlong. I am willing to put a line through that latest effort, in the hope that he can return to his previous best form. His fourth place finish behind Invincible Crown over the extended five furlongs round here ties in well with another of today’s rivals Piranha Rama. On that occasion he endured a wide trip and kept on well at the finish to just go down by a quarter of a length to that rival. With a better draw in stall four today, I am hoping that he can at least turn the tables on that rival who has a wider draw in stall seven. At the prices on offer he looks worth a sporting interest for tonight’s contest.
