Yesterday’s Review

1pt e/way Magnficent Nine (102) – The selection finished a short head and a head behind the winner Another World (108) back in January giving him four pounds in weight. Yesterday, giving the winner just two pounds he finished three and a quarter lengths behind him. The main reason for this was the ride Brenton Avdulla gave the selection, losing four lengths on the leader Yuen Long Elite (107) (who finished in second place) from the six furlong pole to the four furlong pole. The difference between the winning rider Zac Purton and Brenton Avdulla was highlighted in this race for all to see. The selection more than likely would not have beaten the winner,  but he was given no chance by this ride. Result 3rd 7/2, 10/3 adv..7/2 SP.
