Today’s Advice
Sunway (14f 115y Gp1) – This three-year-old’s effort in the Irish Derby looks the best piece of form both on the clock and from a ratings point of view. He has been a bit unlucky all season, including last time out at Ascot when badly hampered by a weakening Hans Andersen, and the step up in trip for today’s big race in the (3.40) Doncaster looks well worth exploring. In finishing three quarters of a length behind Los Angeles that day at the Curragh he showed he can win a Group 1 contest with the fastest final three furlongs of the field. As a hold-up performer he will benefit from front-runner Grosvenor Square being in today’s field, and Christophe Soumillon looks an interesting booking with Oisin Murphy engaged at Woodbine. He looks worth an interest at the prices over this new trip.
