0.75pt e/way Super Tuscan (97) – The selection raced in midfield and after making decent headway over two furlongs out had every chance. Unfortunately, he couldn’t find an extra gear at the finish and missed out on the places by a quarter of a length.

0.5pt win Sky Secret (92) – The selection raced prominently and took up the running four furlongs from home. He was headed over a furlong out before weakening into 12th place beaten 6 lengths. I was surprised he was allowed to take part as the ground was over 8 lengths per mile faster than standard on the straight course and his dam was a winner on soft ground. He will be one to bear in mind for the autumn.
