Today’s Advice

Intervention (6f 16y Hcap) – This seven-year-old appreciated the return to the all-weather the last twice recording (109) and (110) speed figures at Kempton and Wolverhampton. On the latest occasion at Wolverhampton he finished third behind Aramram beaten just a half length while racing in midfield before making his challenge towards the inside rail in the home straight. He has dropped five pounds in the handicap since just missing out by a head to Bosh at Lingfield on All-Weather Championship Day back in March, and has plenty of course form on his CV as well. He looks a little overpriced in the market, and should provide connections with another consistent all-weather season going forward.

Breeders Cup 2024

I had a close look at tonight’s excellent US action, and decided to just enjoy the action without getting involved at an early stage. A few horses looked interesting, but not enough of the boxes were ticked for me including price, distance and draw. I will be looking forward to seeing City Of Troy’s dirt debut, and will be cheering him on despite the doubts about handling the surface.
