1.5pts e/way Letmelivemylife (99) – I was really looking forward to seeing this 5yo back over his preferred distance. Unfortunately, the race was slowly run which didn’t suit. The possible effects of the dreaded “bounce” factor could also have been on display. He will probably be worth another chance if he can get a bit of pace to aim at next time out.

1pt e/way Haziym (93) – The market drift out to 22/1 told the story that this horse would not be repeating his most recent effort when he finished a length ahead of Illusionist (who placed third). And so it proved as the horse finished last. Remarkable how the market can tell that he won’t be doing that again.

1pt e/way Way Of Life (108) – Easily the fastest race on the card thanks to the front running La Pulga who was beaten 10 lengths. Way of Life’s last three speed figures in truly run races read (108), (107), (106). He must be due a bit of luck soon.
