0.75pt e/way Agamemnon (104) – The selection raced in touch and looked like he was coming with a winning move over a furlong out. He found the winner a length too strong at the line and it was disappointing he couldn’t quicken up better having had first run. Result 2nd 7/1, 13/2 adv…6/1 SP.

0.75pt e/way Shadow Road (96) – A disappointing performance from the selection who failed to find another gear when asked four furlongs from home having took up a lovely position tracking the leaders early on. Perhaps connections were asking too much of him on his turf debut. He will be interesting back on the all-weather.

0.5pt e/way Sea Lantern (110) – The selection made decent headway from midfield on the outside over three furlongs from home and looked like he was coming with a winning run over a furlong from home. Unfortunately, he received a bump from the fourth placed finisher and just failed to close down the winner by a short head at the line. A very unlucky race for all involved. Result 2nd 6/1 adv…4/1f SP.

1pt e/way Be The Standard (88) – The selection raced in touch of the leaders but found nothing when asked for an effort over two furlongs from home. He trailed home in 11th place beaten 24 lengths and it looked like he hadn’t recovered from his exertions 15 days ago.
