Everything went according to plan during the race with a decent early pace contested by Holkham Bay, Buccabay and Cuban Breeze before Marco Ghiani’s mount went on 4 furlongs out. Unfortunately, for the selection, he lacked a change of gear at this distance, and was also denied a clear run up the home straight. A frustrating fifth place finish missing out by 1/4 length on the places.
