1pt e/way Omaha Front (105) – It was right to take on the short priced favourite Ashwaan (97) who ran 2 lengths slower than was expected and could only manage 4th place beaten 7.5 lengths despite having the perfect trip round. The selection repeated his previous career best with an extra 7lbs weight despite having to travel wide on the home turn. He raced prominently and after taking up the running over a furlong from home was always doing enough to come home a length and a half clear. Result 1st 10/3 adv…3/1 SP.
