Yesterday’s Review
1pt win Darlo Pride (109) – A big effort on the clock from the selection who had been known for not seeing out his races fully in the past. He had shown himself capable of putting up these types of big performances on the clock before when beating Jacquelina, and finishing a neck behind Gustav Graves both in February this year. The race itself went smoothly with a prominent position taken up from stall two, before leading inside the final furlong and holding Mumayaz (107) by a length. A new relish for his finishes seems to have been elicited from him by trainer Michael Dods, and there should be plenty more fun with him this season. Result 1st 7/2 adv…11/4 SP.
